Folding Beds & Hideaway Beds – Quick Sleeping Arrangements

Folding Beds - Hideaway BedsIt is getting later in the evening and the party or late night event just got started.  You, your family and your friends are having a great time enjoying each other, laughing, dancing, etc.  Sounds like a good time.  But what about the sleeping arrangements, especially after a late night.

Do you have a quick solution to provide a bed for everyone that might end up staying the night?  You can’t fit to many people on the spare bed or on the couches and who wants to sleep on the carpet or even worse, the hard wood floor. Why not be prepared, by having several folding beds and hideaway beds readily available for your late night guests.

There are several folding beds and many different hideaway beds you can purchase at your local department store and online that will easily fit in a small closet, a spare bedroom or a storage area.  The most common type of hideaway bed is a blow up air mattress.

Personally I prefer an air mattress if I have a blower or an electric inflater pump.  Could you imagine blowing up the air mattress with a hand pump.  Man that would seem to take forever.

Another really good option is a roll out folding bed.  Just roll it out of the closet into the desired room and unfold.  It is just that quick. If you want to be really nice you can even provide some sheets and a nice blanket too.

If you have a spare bedroom or an office you could also have several hideaway beds tucked in a corner or in a desk or disguised as a table.  There are some very nice hideaway beds that are fold up beds with a folding mattress that actually fold up into a table.  When the bed is not in use, you can use the table just like any other table surface.

These folding beds are great options when you need to make quick sleeping arrangements for your overnight guests.

Memory Foam Folding Beds Reduce Back Pain

Folding Beds Memory Foam Folding MattressHave you ever felt bad about your overnight guest complaining that their back is stiff after sleeping on your folding bed?  Why not try one of the many memory foam folding beds to reduce and even eliminate back pain while providing an excellent night sleep.

With all the buzz about memory foam and the wonderful sleep you can get, there are also many other benefits that can be gained from the folding beds that have a memory foam folding mattress.

As with all folding beds, they are designed to be folded into the upright position and rolled away into a closet or storage area like your spare bedroom or garage when they are not in use.   When your guests are stay the night you can easily roll the bed into the desired room and fold out the bed in a very short time.  Most folding beds have a twin size mattress set on a steel metal frame, however you can also find just the folding mattress in different sizes.  If you prefer the folding mattress only they do have a disadvantage, there are no wheels to roll the bed around the house.  You will have to carry it.  This can be a pain if it is a heavy mattress.  Another option could be a blow up air mattress.

Have you seen those late night infomercials about the memory foam beds with the wine glass on one end and the woman jumping on the other.  Well do not try this with memory foam that comes with a folding bed.  The memory foam folding mattress is only about four to six inches thick supported by a steel metal wire mesh beneath.  If you jump on the bed it will break.  These beds are strictly for sleeping, or more specifically sleeping in comfort.

The soft yet firm memory foam on the bed supports the body and adjusts to the shape of the person while lying down.  No more tossing and tuning.

Your guests will thank you in the morning for the wonderful night sleep they will get.  You may even hear, wow your memory foam folding bed is more comfortable than my bed at home.

You can find several folding beds with a memory foam folding mattress online and at your local department stores.  Prices range from $100 to $300 depending on the size of the mattress and the thickness of the memory foam.  If your are going to purchase a bed online, check the shipping prices before you completely checkout. You might be able to find a better deal at your local department store if the shipping costs are too high.

Folding Beds are Perfect for your Overnight Guests

Folding Beds

If you have a large or an extended family then you know what is means to have a packed house during the holidays and during family gatherings especially when you have them sleeping over night.  Rooms are filled with fold out beds, folding mattresses, rollaway beds and air mattresses.  Hopefully everyone gets a comfortable bed to sleep on.

Folding beds are a perfect choice for your overnight  guests, family and friends.  Folding beds are designed specifically for space efficiency when storing them away in a closet or storage room while at the same time providing a comfortable night sleep.

There are many different folding beds to choose from; Hideaway Beds, Rollaway Beds, Fold Out Beds, Folding Guest Beds and Folding Mattresses.  All these different models provide similar sleeping comforts and space efficiency when folded.  However, I would recommend a choosing one of the steel frame hideaway beds or one of the folding guest beds found in your local store or found online.

Both of these types of folding beds provide multiple options for the type of mattress and the level of comfort that can be provided.  Typically a folding mattress is included to ensure when the bed is in the folded position it is easy to lock it in that position.  The other important factor is the wheels.  When you have to move the folding bed from the storage area, it can be a pain in the butt to carry around the bed, especially if it is a larger and heavier bed.  Having wheels on the folding bed allows you to easily roll the beds around the house to the desired location.  This makes it very easy and fast setup and be ready for sleep for your overnight guests.

Folding beds are not very expensive and in most cases they are a better alternative to an air mattress since they are not susceptible to being popped.  It really stinks when you wake up in the middle of the night and you air mattress has completely deflated.  If you are shopping at a local store like Bed Bath & Beyond, the prices range from $100 to around $200.  If you are shopping online you might be able to find a lower price, but be sure to check the shipping costs before you completely check out.

When choosing from the many folding guest beds, make sure it can be setup in seconds and that it will give your overnight guests a comfortable night sleep.
